It's consistently very good, we eat here at least once a month. I've been to Thailand and is as close as you can get in Tahoe.

Orange chicken was amazing, the chicken was all white meat. Pot stickers handmade and Tom yum soup was great, advice for this restaurant, if you don't like spicy soup ask to make it mild. The soup was a little too spicy for me but tasted amazing.

Orchids authentic thai cuisine tasted quite authentic to me. I was surprised to find such great Thai food in Tahoe. I got the pen and curry, which was a good size portion. It was a satisfying meal after a long cold hike in the morning. I wish it came with rice but you had to pay extra for that. Good flavor and delicious. My wife got the tom yum noodle soup which was huge with tons of noodles. Good flavor and spice. The broth was more like a tom kha as it was not clear broth as im used to for a tom yum but the flavors were all there. Nice quick friendly service. Would come back and recommend to others.

The place was nice, the food was very delicious and the attention was also pleasant and enjoyable. Just one observation, my dad wanted to order a Teriyaki and on the menu it said chicken and meat and at the time of ordering the waitress ask us if it was going to be chicken or meat which i mention that on the menu it said both and she told me no, that it was only 1 protein. I must mention that my mom and I ordered curry and in both dishes it said that it came with chicken and shrimp and that's what we received. Also the amount that my mom and I received was enough compared to the poor portion that my dad received.

4.5 stars! FOOD [4.5/5] ============= + Pad Thai [5/5] - WOULD RECOMMEND! Really delicious pad thai! Super flavorful and fresh. I thought the portion size was perfect. + Tom Kha with Shrimp [4/5] Served warm and full of yummy goodies. I think I prefer tom yum over tom kha; the broth was a little too sour for me. SERVICE [5/5] =========== Service here is very kind and attentive.

Amazing place. I had the spicy basil beef and my gf had the pad kee mow. Both delicious. For drinks a Thai tea and Thai ice coffee. The real stand out though is they have the best CRAB RANGOON. I'm super picky about CR. I hate those wimpy ones in a star shape with very little filling. The ones here were bursting with cream cheese crab filling. So delicious. Servers are kind. Really love this place.

Great spot for Authentic Thai food! Once we entered we were greeted by friendly workers! They had beautiful decor which I was very mesmerized. I had a stroller which I felt bad rolling around hitting everyone's chair but everyone was understanding. We ended up sitting in the back room. We ordered our drinks and food and got it in a timely manner. The food we ordered was very hefty! We will surely keep this pace on our list of "to go's" when visiting Tahoe.

Very good thai food! There's lot of variety, and everything tastes good. There is a bit of wait around dinner time, so make a reservation if you have a larger party. The shrimp fried rice is very good, and so is the tom yum soup and green curry.

Came here around 730 on a Saturday. Although there were people waiting by the door, we were seated right away (party of 2). The waitress came within 8 mins and took our orders. We had to order everything including dessert because their kitchen was closing. We ordered: - Crab Rangoon (1 star) they say it's "real crab meat" but there was nothing but cream cheese and scallion - Chicken fried rice (4 stars) this was tasty, not salty - Chicken Pad Se Ew (3 stars) saucier than usual, not much flavor - Mango sticky rice (4 stars) a bit salty but still good PS. their portions are huge! we barely ate 1/2 of each dish
